Walden Pond in high summer: swimmers in the shallows, beachgoers along the shore, and a warm haze over the water. This painting began as one of my original digital artworks, which I then painted by hand in acrylic, building the surface up layer by layer.

I painted two versions from that design, and because each was worked by hand, each one is unique. At 40 x 28 in, it is a large piece that asks for a wall with room around it, such as a living room or a long landing.

Original painting. 40 x 28 in, acrylic. One of two hand-painted versions, each unique.
