Modern Poppies

I cropped these poppies in close and painted them with a wide, graphic brush: pinks in the foreground and deep, moody centers, each given its full strength.

Modern Poppies is 60 x 60 in, a generous painting that needs a generous wall. A living room with high ceilings, a stair landing, or an open loft would give it room to breathe.

Original painting. 60 x 60 in, acrylic on canvas, unframed.
